Daikaijuzine – Release #002: King Ghidorah

Editorial

Endless Potential” by Drema Deòraich (984 words)

A politician approaches a grizzled bar patron to strike up a deal to win a seat. The bar patron, Abby, appears to negotiate time off people’s lives and can see into their souls and true nature. An intriguing piece—Abby comes off as a very interesting person to hang around, and everything left unspoken in the piece creates the sense that the world and character are bigger than just the scope of the thousand words here. I’d love to see more about this character, but the piece also works well on its own to show how evocative a flash-length idea can be.
